ASUS has just introduced a new model of its tablet with phone functions. This is the PhonePad 7 LTE will bring the 4G to this line in the 7-inch size, something that until now we have only seen in the 10-inch models. In turn, it has shown models that had been presented in recent dates both in this line of tablets and in smartphones, with the ZenFone.
This model does not vary much from what the FonePad 7 already offered that we saw at the IFA in Berlin in September last year. It repeats most of its specifications but adding an LTE module that we could not find before.

Inside we have the same Intel processor atom Z2560 1,6 GHz dual-core along with the PowerVR SGX544 GPU. It is accompanied by 1 GB of RAM and move 4.2 Android Jelly Bean. It can be found with several memory options: 8 GB, 16 GB or 32 GB. Of course, all these versions will be expandable by microSD card up to 32 GB more.
Your stereo speakers will feature SonicMaster technology as is customary for the brand.
It has a 1,2 MPX front camera and a 5 MPX rear with video recording in Full HD. Its battery is 3.950 grams. Thus, it achieves a bulge of 10,5 mm thick and 340 grams of weight.
The truth is that it is somewhat disappointing that all the specifications are repeated. Many of those standards are far behind. The new generation of Atom Bay Trail processors have been in use in moderately priced models for almost half a year now. The version of the operating system also leaves us cold and, of course, the thickness of 10,5 mm does not help either.
Price and Availability
No details have been entered on either of the two aspects but we will be attentive to communicate it to you. Either way, we must expect a low cost band.
