HTC phablet

In the last weeks HTC had managed to arouse quite a bit of anticipation with a phablet de really spectacular features. Finally, the long-awaited device has seen the light in Japan under the name of HTC J Butterfly and its technical specifications seem to live up to the rumors.

HTC J Butterfly

We have been informing you promptly of the hearsay about the launch of a phablet by HTC, which have been quite strong in recent times and, fortunately, it seems that it was not simple speculation: a smartphone with a 5-inch screen, HTC J Butterfly has finally been presented in Japan. The best part of the news, in any case, is not only that the phablet has finally seen the light, but that all the expectations aroused by speculation regarding its great technical specifications have been confirmed.

The device has a Super LCD display of with a resolution of 440 pixels per inch, a quad-core processor Snap Dragon S4 Pro, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB hard drive (along with the possibility of increasing the storage capacity via micro-SD card) and battery 2020 mAh. It also has an 8 MP rear camera and a 2,1 MP front camera. All the features are solid, but there is no doubt that above all I would highlight the fantastic resolution of its screen capable of overshadowing that of the iPhone 5 itself.

Altogether, it is a device with great features, capable also of standing up to what so far seems to be the protagonist of the latest generation of phablets, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, and show itself much superior to the new version of LG, the Optimus Vu 2. The bad news is that, for now, the device will only be available in Japan, so there is another thing to wait to see when we can have a version of it in Europe.
