The Chinese company Huawei is already finalizing the presentation of the new member of its brand of high-end products for Europe, after the launch a few weeks ago of the Honor 6 and 3C. In this case, the team will grow to 5,5 inches and will show a peculiarity so far only used by HTC within the sector: a dual camera to play with the depth of the image and achieve 3D effects.
on the Internet confirm that it will be next October 16 when Huawei publicly presents its first phablet of the brand Honor, whose name seems to move between two possibilities: Honor 6X or 6 Plus. Later it will arrive in Europe already, presumably, without the Huawei label of its name.
A technical sheet yet to be completed
What we do have more or less clear are its technical specifications, in the absence of official confirmation. Among them stands out a Kirin 920 processor of eight cores at 1,8 GHz, house brand, or a panel of 5,5 inches with Full HD resolution. It will also have 3GB of RAM, 4.4.4 Android Kitkat and a storage capacity of 16 or 32GB; all this in a chassis of 15 cm x 7,6 cm x 7.5 mm and about 165 grams.
We expect a team capable of fighting in the high range, despite not having such advanced components as those of the Galaxy Note 4 or Nexus 6, but of achieving a better equilibrium between price and benefits.
Dual camera, its great attraction?
We still do not know any details about the purpose of the double optics in the model chamber, however, taking as reference the precedent of the HTC One M8, its function is most likely related to stability and 3D effects when taking images. Of course, it is important to see what resolution the sensor reaches since in the M8 the lack of megapixels, in our opinion, is not compensated by the dual lens, which happens to be a characteristic little more than anecdotal.
