Much had been speculated in the Korean press as to whether the LG G3 could become a Galaxy S5 killer even before both teams were official. Today the new LG flagship has been unveiled in its entirety, and we can now put the benefits of one and the other face to face, and start the debate on which is better. We offer you a comparison between the technical characteristics both as a starting point.
The time that has elapsed since Samsung presented its Galaxy S5 Until today, it can become a factor in favor of LG, a company that has had more room to optimize the evolutions of Qualcomm with the operation of the rest of the components of its flagship. However, the fact that he was ahead of the others in the launch and popularity of its predecessors make the S5 a commercial advantage.
Integrated
The dimensions of the LG G3 are 14,6 cm x 7,5 cm x 8,9 mm, while the Galaxy S5 Measures 14,2cm x 7,2cm x 8,1cm. As you can see, the LG terminal is a little more voluminous in all its lines, but the difference is almost insignificant and yet, its screen has 5,5 inches while that of the Galaxy adds 5,1.

Screen
As we mentioned, the size of the screen influences the overall size of both devices, although the space seems to be better used in the G3. Your display of 5,5 inches it is surrounded by a minimal bezel, while in the Galaxy S5 the frames have had to grow with respect to previous generations.
In terms of resolution, the G3 has a Quad HD panel (2560 × 1440 pixels), for the Full HD (1920 × 1080) of the S5. In this way, a much higher pixel density is achieved than in the Samsung terminal (538 dpi compared to 432 dpi).
On the other hand, Galaxy S5 uses a technology Super AMOLED, while the LG G3 bets on the IPS. The most significant difference is probably in the greater saturation of the first. We cannot say that one is better than the other here, because it will always depend on the tastes of each user.
Performance
Both teams have a Snapdragon 801 at 2,5 GHz and 2 GB of RAM, so, in principle, its performance should be very similar. However, there are certain aspects that can mark the power of each one, but it is not wise to say which one will run the most before I see them working face to face.
Samsung's customization layer is slower and heavier than LG's, however the G3's high pixel density can also take its toll on the smoothness of its controls (hopefully not). The benchmarks and other types of performance tests will get us out of doubt shortly.
Autonomy
With the G2, LG introduced several battery innovations, such as a stepped structure and a new graphic RAM system, in addition to different settings to achieve a minimum consumption in certain circumstances. In this sense, we can say that the past generation had a marvelous autonomy. This LG G3 should follow a similar path, with the same load capacity, 3.000 mAh, or even improve its efficiency.
The Galaxy S5, meanwhile, has a somewhat lower battery, 2.800 mAh but also has achieved exceptional results in the tests we've seen to date.
Camera
It is always said that megapixels are not everything in a camera. In this sense, LG continues with the 13 mpx of the previous generation, while the Galaxy S5 has a sensor of 16 mpx.
The difference is that the G3 camera works with a OIS + that provides stability to the image. This detail makes us opt for the LG smartphone.
Conclusions
In our view, LG has taken advantage of the time and has managed to improve the Galaxy S5 in those areas where there was margin. The LG G3 wins in Finished, riding a size y screen resolution or in the capacity of the drums.
However, if we especially like Samsung products, the S5 is not a clearly inferior option either, and the comparison can be made from a different perspective: its size is more compact, your camera has bigger resolution and the AMOLED screen can offer better shine and outdoor viewing.
