Nokia could return to the smartphone market with the Nokia C1

Last November 18 and just after a week in which the rumors about the possible return of Nokia had gained in intensity, the Finnish company announced the Android tablet Nokia N1. It is the first device they presented after the purchase of the mobile division by Microsoft, which had made sure that Nokia did not return to smartphones before 2016 with a clause in the agreement. Although we are far from this date, Nokia is already working on the C1, a smartphone with Android operating system.

As the companions of other media, the Nokia C1 would be developed by the Finnish company but would be manufactured by Foxconn, who would be the perfect ally again. The company, known for its partnership with Apple for the production of its iPhones, handles the sales, shipping and after-sales service of the Nokia N1, and could play the same role with the C1 smartphone. In this way, Nokia could remain in the shadow of a product that could advance its staging to 2015. A trick that would serve to bypass the restrictions imposed by the Redmond giant, although we do not rule out that they take some action in this regard.

As you can see in the image despite its poor quality, the smartphone would have a design very similar to the N1 tablet and therefore to Apple products, which, as we already told you, have served as inspiration. As expected, the operating system chosen by Nokia will stop being Windows and will become the majority, Android. Specifically, the device would include the latest version of it, Android Lollipop 5.0, although I would use the interface of your Nokia Z Launcher, how well received it has been among users, who can download it from Google Play.

The rest of the specifications are still in the air although there are some rumors about what could be the important points of its technical sheet. Starting with a screen of 5 inches, surely with Full HD resolution, following a processor that would be manufactured by Intel which would be accompanied by a 2 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage and ending with two cameras of 8 megapixels on the back and 5 megapixels on the front.
