Samsung is already testing prototypes of the Galaxy S6, some with a curved screen

We have known for a long time since Samsung wants break molds with the future Galaxy S6, but we still do not know for sure what the Koreans have been able to think about for this. It seems, however, that, although at some point it seemed disproved, the idea of a curved screen in the style of the Galaxy Note Edge, is the safest bet, with more leaks pointing in this direction. We give you all the details.

A Galaxy S6 Edge seems increasingly likely

Shortly after the idea of "project zero" behind the future was unveiled Galaxy S6, the news broke that Samsung I was thinking of a three-sided display (like that of Galaxy Note Edge, but on both sides) for him, and for weeks leaks kept pouring in supporting this possibility. At the beginning of December, however, speculation began that the project had been abandoned.

It seems, however, that in the end this has not been the case and that Samsung right now he has in tests various prototypes with this kind of curved screen, or at least so affirmed by a supposed employee of the company that is in charge of the testing. What would not be decided yet, according to him, is whether the curved screen will be "dual" or not, that is, whether it will cover the two sides or only one, and there are prototypes with both variants.

Two models?

It is clear that this contradicts some of the supposed images that have already been seen from the smartphone, although we would not be surprised if they were not authentic, simply. It cannot be ruled out, however, that what happens is that there is two (or more) Galaxy S6 models this year, an option that, again, has been on the table from practically the beginning.

What does seem to be fading on the horizon is the possibility that the flagship of Samsung finally debuted in January, well ahead of schedule, as pointed out by some recent leaks, since, as we say, for now the Galaxy S6 it would be in the testing phase and the final design would not even be decided yet.
