Samsung has released today its results for the last quarter and, incidentally, its executives have left us some hints of what we can expect from the company for the coming months, making it clear that in the future of the South Koreans we will see even more oversized tablets y phablets.

You would think that with the last two PRO tablets that Samsung has presented this month the big screens for a while, but it seems that will not be the case: even though the latest tablets of the South Koreans that we have heard are of "normal" size (10.1 and 8 inches), large screens will continue to be protagonists in the company in the future, and not only for tablets.

Samsung prides itself on the success of phablets

A few days ago we brought you data from growth in demand for phablets in recent years (and in the years to come, judging by expert estimates) and in Samsung they have no qualms about claiming this trend as their success, practically. The truth is that it is undeniable that they were the great pioneers, with the first Galaxy Note, and that they are the sales leaders in that sector (even their claim that it is the brand that smartphones with large screens are most associated with is probably true). For this reason, the company is clear that they will continue to bet on this line in the future and they anticipate that we will meet several new smartphones between 5 and 6 inches throughout this year.

There will also be larger tablets

However Samsung does not dare only with large smartphones but, as it has already shown with the Introducing the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 and the Galaxy TabPRO 12.2It also does so in the tablet sector. But these are not the only "giant" tablets that will be launched this year but, in fact, we will know some even larger (up to 20 inches and with high resolution), although they will be oriented more to professional use, like the rest of tablets of these dimensions that we have seen to date.
