Sony has done a couple of presentations of terminals for emerging markets just a few days after the CES in Las Vegas ended, a fair focused on the American market, primarily, and international. Both devices would be classified in a mid-range of quality, which could well succeed in Europe. The Xperia T2 Ultra, it will be an interesting 6-inch phablet and the Xperia E1, a small smartphone.
Diversifying products by region is a difficult strategy for techies to understand, but it makes a lot of sense for brands. As interesting as some models that we see coming out only in Asia or only in the United States may be, in the end the companies go for their profits and this type of attractive terminals could reduce sales in wealthy markets of flagship ships, which more profit margin they have.
Xperia T2 Ultra Specifications
The Xperia T2 Ultra looks like a budget version of the Z Ultra.
