Acer Iconia A1-810 officially launches for only 169 euros

Acer Iconia A1 has been presented today in Spain with a press release. The Android tablet from the Taiwanese brand brings a size and format very reminiscent of the iPad mini, but that by price we could locate in the low cost range of compact tablets how crowded it is lately. We are going to review what it offered us now that we also know its final price.

As we said, the most remarkable thing about this tablet is its format. Your screen has 7,9 inches and with a 4: 3 aspect ratio, the same one that Apple chose for its compact. It also coincides in resolution with X. The difference is that here we have a backlit screen by LED y IPS panel wide viewing angle.

On the outside it reminds us a lot of this benchmark tablet with iOS but its thickness is different, reaching 11,1 mm, notably thicker.

Inside it has a Mediatek MT8125 chip composed of a CPU of Quad-core 9 GHz Cortex A-1,2. He accompanies him 1 GB of RAM that together they will move 4.2.2 Android Jelly Bean, the latest version of Google's OS.

In terms of storage, with the Iconia A1-810 you can choose between 8 and 16 GB although both can be expanded by an additional 32 GB per slot microSD.

With regard to connectivity we have a well-equipped tablet: WiFi, Bluetooth, HDMI and the option to choose mobile networks with 3G. It has all the sensors that we can ask for, of course, GPS.

It has two cameras, a front of 0,3 MPX, just for video calls, and a rear of 5 MPX. Its battery may be a bit short at 3250 mAh.

The best is undoubtedly its starting price, the 169 euros. At such a cost, its value for money skyrockets and it becomes a very attractive option for those who want a tablet to start with. Its format is also more comfortable for reading and web browsing.
