Throughout this fall we have been getting to know several of the new tablets with Windows 8 and now it is the turn of the devices Acer Iconia W510 y Acer Iconia W700. As in the case of the other tablets with Windows 8, the devices are specially designed to maximize your comfort when working and are close to the hybrid format (the Iconia W510 more clearly, the Iconia W700 in a more original way). Its strong point, without a doubt, is its price, the most reasonable within what can be found among tablets with the operating system of Microsoft: between 500 and 700 euros.
El Iconia W510 It is the cheaper model of the two, with a price of $529, and its shape is that of a hybrid conventional, with a optional keyboard that can be attached to it. It has a screen of 10.1 inches and presents a great image quality, with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080. Acer has made a special effort to achieve good autonomy for their devices and in the case of the W510 they ensure that the tablet with the keyboard attached lasts approximately 18 hours (Although as always, we must bear in mind that the time the battery lasts depends on the use and even the settings we have on our equipment).
The second model, the Iconia W700, it is priced higher, but still quite reasonable: $629. The screen is larger than that of the Iconia W510, reaching the 11.6 inches, and its resolution is equally 1920 x 1080. The higher cost of this model is due, above all, to the fact that it incorporates a processor Intel Core i3 instead of an Atom. What stands out most about this tablet is its design, which is quite less conventional. The Iconia W700 incorporates a support, completely independent of the keyboard, which allows the tablet to be placed in different positions (landscape or portrait) and with different degrees of inclination, depending on the use to be made of it.
Reasonable prices 600-700? No wonder android sells so much.
