Android Messages adopts Material Design and a new dark mode

Two Androids

After "Contacts", "News" or "Tasks", it is time to Messages Android is also updated to Material Design. The app has already received a breath of fresh air - can be seen in the last APK of the system- to thus adapt to the new environment that will end up starring in the entire mobile OS interface.

Say goodbye well because behind it is (well, more or less) what you know about Messages on Android. The application has been the next to receive a facelift, which can already be seen in the most recent APK available, and in which a more minimalist and clean air can be appreciated with the use of the Google Sans font.

It's not the only change. The more vibrant colors are also left behind to give way to an image where white is much more predominant.

You don't like so much clarity and "cleanliness"? Well rest assured because the latest version comes with a surprise. It turns out that the app will also offer a new native "dark mode" that will leave behind the light tones to bet on a practically black environment - in the image you have on these lines you can see how it looks.

En Android Central They say that to activate it you just have to go to the three points in the upper right corner and select the option "Enable dark mode" in the menu that appears. If you want to remove it, you will only have to perform the same procedure to then touch on "Disable dark mode".

The update could be already available for some but in case it has not reached you or you have access, know that you have a direct link to the Latest APK (in which the redesign is applied) with just one click just here.
