Although there have been several signs for months that indicated that working with Android 9 had begun, the clues to what novelties could focus on Google they are minimal, for the moment. A few weeks ago there was speculation about the possibility that it would come with a change that would undoubtedly be very unpopular, hiding the icon indicating the strength of the coverage, but little else.
