Angry Birds Go! Rovio's next racing game and umpteenth spin-off

A

Rovio plans to squeeze every last drop out of his little bird games saga. Every few months we have a new installment or game inspired by the success of Angry Birds. This time it will be called Angry Birds Go! and it seems that it will be a racing game in which both the birds and the Bad Piggies will be able to compete.

The announcement comes from the Finnish company's press room. They inform us that the game will be set on Piggy Island and that the two antagonistic groups of characters will be involved. They have also launched a own website where we clearly see that it will be a racing game. Titles are shown in a strange presentation Ready…Set…Go!, what comes to be ready, Set, Go!, to later hear the classic rubber that throws the Angry Birds. This time it will be through a circuit and not through the air.

Some speculate that it could be a car game, others that it could be a Autorun o Temple Run imitation. Little by little and through their profiles on social networks, web and blog on Tumblr we will get rid of doubts.

The change of format seems a good departure for a somewhat worn saga. This path was opened with Bad Piggies who happened to make use of a carriage although he continued with physics as the main dynamics of the game. With Angry Birds Star Wars, a thematic refocusing was attempted by mixing with the famous George Lucas saga.

Without a doubt, this game will serve to measure the interest that the fighting birds continue to generate among the players. Rovio does not stop and intends to release a film about the saga in 2016. Meanwhile he has kept his back by clearly separating what will be his own productions from the other games that will be produced through the Rovio Stars company.
