In a curious turn of events, the next title in one of Gameloft's most popular franchises, Asphalt xtreme, will not have asphalt among its fundamental ingredients. The developer has decided to innovate with the circuits and this time the action is transferred to environments where driving becomes extreme: tracks of ice, snow, forests, deserts, etc. The cars, of course, are not the usual sports cars either. Take a look at his first pictures.
To lovers of car games, the Asphalt series has conquered us, in many cases beyond the wide range of sports cars, circuits or continuous updates, so funny which are the races on the track. Personally, it is probably my favorite game of its kind, closely followed by Real Racing 3, and well ahead of both Need for Speed in its mobile version. Given the possibility of transferring all that action to the harshest environmentsI can't help but feel like trying the new Gameloft.
(excuse me for the fan moment ...)
First Asphalt Xtreme teasers and open enrollment
Coinciding with the announcement on the official Gameloft website, in recent days we have seen different teaser with some of the tracks that we can enjoy in the Asphalt Xtreme. For example, we have that of Svalbard in Norway:
The Nile Valley in Egypt:
And a little trailer showing a jungle setting.
Although there is no release date yet, the preregistration is already open. Nor is it as if we are going to run out of the game by downloading it when it is already available without having previously registered, but it seems that the fact of signing up may give us the odd one. extra content and, above all, rewards that will be useful when acquiring new cars and unlocking circuits.
A change of philosophy at the right time
Leaving aside the spin off from the series, the Asphalt 8: Airborne, last big delivery, we loved it, but we were afraid that the formula might be a bit burned, given that the differences with Heat he wasn't overly sensitive, either. This move by Gameloft is therefore very appealing to us.
On the other hand, as they point out in Phone Arena, it is not only the scene of the contests that is going to change, but also the discharge systems. This will not be so "brutal" from the beginning, but will be expanded with purchases in-app, either using real money or using the credits that we are getting race after race.
