ASUS releases a teaser video of the new PadFone Infinity and announces its next presentation

ASUS PadFone Infinity A86

ASUS will launch its new PadFone Infinity next September 17 at an event in Taipei. You have already started sending press invitations and released a video teaser short but quite fun. This was one of the devices that we miss at the IFA in Berlin, since there had been various leaks that predicted a presentation at that time.

This would be the fourth installment of the convertible between smartphone and tablet that the Taiwanese bring to the market. The truth is that Padfone updates have reached breakneck speed and the first was presented in February 2012, that is, in a year and we are going to see three evolutions.

The new model has been named in code as Padphone Infinity A86 and has appeared in the AnTuTu benchmark marking 33.900 points with a Snapdragon 800 chip from Qualcomm. In fact, this score is higher than that of most of the high-end devices that we find on the market such as the Galaxy S4 or the Xperia Z1.

The rest we know is that it will have a Full HD screen, that it will have a micro SD slot and that it will have a blank version.

The format so far has not been a bestseller. Perhaps its high price in the previous three generations has put back consumers who found it interesting. If you don't know it, PadFone consists of a phone that we dock into a tablet, thus sharing processor, content and profile.

Jerry Shen will present in front of journalists in Taipei City to journalists from around the world. At video teaser, we see a clear reference to an increase in power and an appeal to the future, so perhaps we should expect something new. Although in terms of design we do not see great differences.

In these six days that remain, it is more than likely that we will see another leak and some more teaser video as usual ASUS.
