Asus ZenPad S 8.0 and ZenPad 8.0: so are the new Asus tablets

El Computex has already started and, as you know, one of the fans of the event is always Asus. Taiwanese, moreover, are not limited to making an appearance, but some of their most interesting mobile devices are usually presented there and this year is no exception: together with a new ZenFone and a new ZenWatch, they have seen the light in your event two new tablets, a model of high end and another mid-range, both with a very particular characteristic, interchangeable back covers, some with extra functions.

Asus ZenPad S 8.0

We start with the new high-end model, the ZenPad S 8.0, a tablet worthy of competing with the Galaxy Tab S, Nexus 9 or Xperia Z. As the name makes it very clear, it has a display of 8 inches with format 4:3 and with Quad HD resolution (1536 x 2048), while the processor is a Intel Atom Z3580, who is accompanied by nothing less than 4 GB RAM memory, and the cameras are 8 MP the back and of 5 MP the front. It is not only its technical specifications that impress, since in the design section we also find some interesting data, such as those mentioned interchangeable back covers (with different colors and special functions such as adding battery or speakers). It also has a fairly reduced thickness (6,6 mm) and a fairly low weight (298 grams). It will be available with a stylus, if we wish.

The screen size is the same (8 inches), although the format changes (16:10 in this case), and, above all, the resolution, which becomes HD (1280 x 800), like the processor that we are now is a Intel Atom X3, who will accompany 1 or 2 GB RAM memory depending on the storage capacity we choose (8 or 16 GB).
