We continue with our review of the best free games of 2017, and after dealing with those who are pure hard action, now is the time to highlight those in which combat also plays a leading role, but leaving much more space for planning and testing our ingenuity: we leave you with a few of the best MOBA, RPG and strategy games year.
Lineage 2 Revolution
Starting with the popular ones MMORPG What was probably the most anticipated release of 2017 was a fairly recent one, outside of Asia at least, as it was its success there largely that made all fans of the genre eager to get their hands on it. And it must be said that Lineage 2 Revolution It has not disappointed, thanks to a huge world to explore, spectacular graphics and the possibility of participating in gigantic battles, of no less than 200 users.
Fire Emblem Heroes
Can't stop being referred to among the best RPG of 2017 to Fire Emblem Heroes, even if it is not entirely a novelty, since its success is based above all on the fact that it brings to mobile devices a classic of Nintendo. Not only will we have the opportunity to fight with the great heroes of the saga, in any case, but new characters have also been introduced, perfectly combining freshness and nostalgia. We also have the possibility of playing alone in the story mode, but there is also a multiplayer mode.
Postknight
Postknight is a RPG very different from the previous ones, on invoice indie, which reached Google Play and the App Store without causing much fuss but has gradually conquered thousands of users. Its graphics and approach is much simpler, just like its protagonist in charge of making deliveries throughout the kingdom, but it does not lack any of the elements that fans of the genre appreciate, including a fantasy world to discover and many opportunities to put it tests our strategy, and it's full of charm.
The Elder Scrolls Legends
Regarding the Card RPG, of course the one we have to highlight is The Elder Scrolls Legends, a title that not only had many pending but has also been expected like few others. In 2017, however, we have finally been able to get our hands on it and it cannot be said that it has not lived up to expectations, with a clear plus for all fans of Skyrim who have a new chance to enter this popular medieval fantasy universe. It has recently received a new expansion, in addition: Return to the Mechanical City.
South Park Phone Destroyer
Another game of card strategy It should be noted, although a much more recent release and with a very different setting and tone: South Park Phone Destroyer It gives us the opportunity to put our talents for strategy to the test in real-time PvP battles with an impossible hodgepodge of heroes and with all the humor one would expect from this irreverent series. It's not entirely focused on multiplayer, if at all, but an original scripted story mode as well.
Battle Bay
For those who prefer MOBA, and with permission from Arena of Valor, our highlight this year is going to be quite a peculiar one, starting because it comes with the seal of Rovio, a study from which we would not have expected a foray into this genre, and continuing because instead of the classic medieval fantasy setting we find naval battles with a much lighter tone, in which each of the players will have to compete mounted on their own boat (which, of course, we can improve as we progress as well).
game of thrones conquest
His reception has been quite controversial, especially by the fans of the series who expected a game that would squeeze the maximum potential of the universe created by George RR Martin, but also because many accuse him of having exceeded the "incentives" to in-app purchases. Despite all this, this game of thrones conquest still the most prominent release of the year probably among the games of online strategy Clash of Clans style and a must-see on this list.
World War 2 Syndicate
We finished with a game of digital workplace strategy that has gone much more unnoticed (although little by little it has been gaining in popularity), but that has had a much more positive reception: World War 2 Syndicate. In this case, it is a recommendation directed more specifically towards fans of the tower defenseAlthough anyone who enjoys putting their wits to the test in combat will enjoy levels inspired by actual battles of World War II.
