BQ vs Ainol: comparison of the two best low cost tablets

robot android

Today we bring you a comparison between two teams that can be a very advisable option for those who are looking for a good tablet but do not want to make an excessive outlay. BQ y Ainol are, probably, the two most powerful "low cost" companies, as they usually present equipment whose characteristics have little to envy the big brands in some aspects and always at very affordable prices.

We have selected those that are, in our opinion, the two best 10-inch tablets of each manufacturer, on the one hand B.Q. Edison and, on the other, Ainol Novo 10 Captain, to compare its features and determine which is the best purchase option according to the preferences of each reader / user. Either device it costs half that Nexus 10, a team that we already consider "affordable" when compared to other tablets such as iPad 4, Asus Transformer Infinity o Galaxy Note 10.1.

Screen

Both have 10,1 inches, but there are some differences in resolution that go in favor of Ainol and is that the New 10 Captain It is the tablet of this company with the best long screen: 1920 x 1200. That is, it has a pixel density similar to that of transformer infinity. On the other hand, BQ not bad either: 1200 x 800. It does not reach as high as its competitor, but presents a data very similar to the Galaxy Note 10.1.

BQ Edison comparative

Processor

Again the two teams are very well served in this category. The processor of the Ainol is a quad-core ACT-ACT7029 that works at 1,5 GHz, ARM Cortex A9 architecture. The processor of the Edison has the same architecture, but only has two cores and still reaches the 1,6 GHz. Both have 1 GB of RAM.

Operating system

The two devices have installed 4.1 Android Jelly Bean out of the box, something not many tablets or phones can boast of yet. In addition, BQ usually updates the operating system of its computers, he has done so on other occasions and it is expected that it will continue to do so.

Ainol Novo 10 Captain vs.

Storage capacity

BQ Part with advantage in this field, it has a 16GB starting space and has a card slot MicroSD that allows you to expand it up to 32GB. However, the Captain It is a little fairer, it only has 8GB of initial capacity although, in the same way and through SD, it can be expanded up to 32GB.

Battery

Here the New 7 Captain has a considerable advantage by having 10.000 mAh load, a real outrage if we take into account, for example, that Nexus 10 it has 9.000 mAh. The BQ is not bad either, a little below the Galaxy Note 10.1, with 6.500 mAh (about six hours of autonomy). Still he stays away from the Ainol that outperforms even the highest-end tablets.

Extras

In this field both are on par. So much BQ as Ainol they have an HDMI and a USB port. In addition, both have two cameras, front and rear, although the latter does not show great quality, only 2MPX, exactly the same in the two teams. Only Wi-Fi and bluetooth connection for both.

Price

B.Q. Edison slope 199 euros, a great price for a 10-inch device, if we consider that there are 7-inch devices that cost just the same. The Ainol Novo 10 Captain cost 212,90 dollars, what can be under 170 euros. However, at the moment it has not reached any Spanish distributor and it is necessary to import it, so the price will go up somewhat.

It is what you have, buy Chinese tablets and highlight them. That right away your products are out of date ...

It goes without saying that the BQ screen is not IPS and is a trick ...

The BQ Edison currently does not bring Jellybean, they will surely update soon but for now it is ICS.

Just stop comparing features. The Bq has a guarantee in Spain and a rom that works perfectly. The Ainol is Chinese, it comes with a Chinese rom and not enough apps can be installed because of this. And also, if you have the problem that it freezes and you have to give the reset (this has happened to many users, because it is a factory defect) you will end up having to send it to China (prepare 40 euros) if it is still in warranty. You are warned.

never buy ainol !!! I have bought 2 tablets and none of them work. One of them I had to pay the expenses to send it back to China to be fixed, after communicating with them for more than 2 months of stupid and useless emails, and now the other one does not work either and they answer me with stupid emails again . I have wasted my time and my money, seriously, spend a little more money and you will be calm, I have been with this fight since September
