October was the appointed month for the arrival (or at least the presentation) of iPad Mini and it seems that his future begins to clarify. Fortune magazine has targeted the Day 17 as the date on which the press will be called and Apple's new compact tablet will be shown to the world, although other media indicate that it will be a day after what Fortune predicts, on the 18th of this month, when this happens. The arrival in stores according to these same estimates would occur between the end of October and November 2. At the moment everything is speculation, the exact dates will be specified as the days go by.
However, we are preparing for a busy few days in terms of information, leaks and rumors about the iPad Mini. Today we woke up with a photo of the prototype of this device next to a Nexus 7 and a Kindle Fire HD. The use of space on the Apple tablet is striking, with a screen of 7,8 inches, the case does not take up much more than the Kindle Fire HD, which has quite large side frame profiles, also in relation to the Nexus 7, for a 7-inch device.
The proportions of the device according to this prototype will be 13,5 centimeters wide and 20 long approximately, by 7,6 millimeters thick. The screen as we said, will have about 8 inches, and it is believed that its resolution will not be Retina type, but something lower: X. This is because the iPad Mini will most likely be a kind of iPad 2 rebuilt so that it can take advantage of applications that were already designed for last year's model.
