Duel of phablets: Pixel 3 XL, iPhone Xs Max, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Oppo Find X

The Google Pixel 3 XL made an appearance yesterday (finally officially) and we cannot let it pass through here without its corresponding comparative. For this we have used other large phablets on the market and we have faced them to analyze them in detail. Go for it.

The Pixel 3 XL has become one of the most anticipated phablets and desired of the moment. But before you go hunting and capturing them, you may want to compare them to their competitors more direct such as the iPhone XS Max, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and the Oppo Find X. We are going to study them more closely, focusing on their most prominent sections.

Screen

The Pixel 3 XL has a screen of 6,3 inches with a resolution of 2.960 x 1.440 pixels and a density of 523 pixels per inch. The iPhone XS Max has a larger screen, 6,5 inches, although its resolution is somewhat lower, which in the end, of course, affects its density, which remains at 458 dpi.

Samsung's Galaxy Note 9 also increases the size although it stays at 6,4 inches with a resolution of 2.960 x 1.440 pixels and 516 dpi. The Oppo Find X, meanwhile, comes with a 6,42 ″ panel and a shorter resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a density of 401 dpi.

Integrated

As you have already seen, the Pixel 3 XL has a design very continuous, although it is something that can also be attributed to the Apple or Samsung terminal. Only the Find X could save itself from this accusation, with an all-screen look that caught everyone's attention when it saw the light. It is not for less. Oppo's phone sports an incredibly attractive appearance in which its OLED panel stands out on its entire front.

Performance

The Pixel 3 XL has a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (eight-core) at 2,8 GHz, the same that powers the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and the Oppo Find X. These two however come with more RAM than our protagonist, offering 6 or 8 GB compared to 4 GB of RAM that brings the Google phone. These are the same as the iPhone XS Max, although unlike its competitors, as you already know, it comes with another heart, Apple's A12 Bionic six-core.

Camera

The Pixel 3 XL resists double (or triple sensor) and stays true to usingle 12,2 megapixel camera with aperture f / 1.8 that relies on artificial intelligence and its powerful image processing. The Apple phone has two main cameras of 12 MP (wide angle, f / 1.8) and 12 MP (telephoto, f / 2.4), similar to those of the Galaxy Note 9, with a mounting also of 12 megapixel sensor (more bright with f / 1.5) next to another 12 MP (telephoto, f / 2.4).

It stands out again, at least in terms of resolution, the Oppo Find X (remember that not because of a higher number in this regard, it has to take better photos, mind you), with a 20 megapixel sensor next to another 16 MP and aperture f / 2.0.

Battery

Apple's phone is the worst offender when it comes to comparing battery capacity. The iPhone XS Max comes with 3.174 mAh, followed by the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, with 4.000 mAh. Our Pixel 3 XL follows with 3.450 mAh and again, highlights the Find X, with its 3.730 mAh.

Price

The term Pixel has long been it is no longer synonymous with economic. The new Pixel 3 Xl has a price that starts at 949 euros, followed by the Oppo terminal for 999 euros.

The Galaxy Note 9 and the iPhone XS Max exceed the dreaded barrier of 1.000 euros assuming an outlay that starts at 1.009 euros and 1.259 euros, respectively.
