CyanogenMod 10.1 M Series available for Nexus 7, 10 and 2 and 7-inch Galaxy Tab 10

CyanogenMod 101

It has just been confirmed that a good number of devices have already available for download the ROM CyanogenMod 10.1M Series. This new version is stable compared to the nightlies that we had had until now and that still showed certain problems that it was better to know how to deal with. Even so, there will still be some other bug, but like any ROM it has, even the official ones.

We give you the complete list of devices, although we lead it by tablets since it is what we talk about on this website.

Tablets:

  • Nexus 7
  • Nexus 10
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 (P3100, P3110)
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (P5100, P5110)

Smartphones:

  • Google Galaxy Nexus
  • Samsung Galaxy S
  • Samsung Galaxy SII
  • Samsung Galaxy SIII
  • Samsung Nexus S
  • LG Nexus 4
  • Motorola Milestones

You can access the downloads from this link.

As you can see, the list is extensive and brings the most famous independent ROM to really leading devices but also very widespread. Curiously, this stable version still leaves out Transformer Infinity, Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note II, which did receive nightlies. CyanogenMod 10.1 is based on Android 4.2 and it preserves almost all its functionalities and adds new ones. Remarkable is the Chromus widget that gives us information such as the time, clock and Google Calendar events already on the unlock screen.

Another aspect that we must expect and that is attributable to all deliveries is a improved tablet performance. Recently you we showed a video of a Nexus 10 running with a CyanogenMod 10.1 nightly and we saw how its benchmark exceeded by 1000 points, assuming almost 20% more power. Something really crazy. Remember that to install these ROMs you have to be root. You can find a tutorial to root some of these devices at our section dedicated to it. If more models come out we will keep you informed.
