Cyanogen Mod OS

The first goal they set is power carry its ROM to users of all levels. For this they work in a installer for windows at the same time that in a Android application that allows to install it with ease and without previous knowledge.

These basic users would receive updates via OTA when the advances were stable. Meanwhile, advanced users and those who are part of the community will be able to test the new functions in their initial phases of development and will have full control of their device as before. That is, the philosophy open source It will not be left behind but the knowledge barrier for entry users will be removed.

The approach is that the installers and the new OS are absolutely free, so it is unknown how they plan to finance themselves. One option is through the manufacturers by contributing or collaborating to get terminals with Cyanogen OS as standard. This last route can count on the opposition of Google although there would be ways to save it.

More announcements are expected in the coming weeks and more light is expected on Cyanogen's future proceedings.
