Windows 10 is up and running, Microsoft's operating system update has been on the way for two days and while, many continue to wonder what happened to Surface Pro 4, the new productive tablet from Redmond that supposedly would be ready to release the software. The truth is that a few days ago it was leaked from sources close to the company's supply chain that the device would be launched in October, a delay that until now we did not know what was due. Apparently the fault lies with Intel and its Skylake processors.
Although the idea of Microsoft was in principle that the fourth generation of its productive tablet released Windows 10, some setbacks have made it they will change their plans and restructure their calendar. As we said, it was a couple of weeks ago when Digitimes revealed in one of its reports that the new Surface tablet (it did not specify the model but it is obvious that it is Surface Pro 4) would not finally arrive until the last quarter of the year. The main providers (and they cited some as Pegatron, Samsung, Ju Teng or Realtek) had started to receive the first large orders with the aim of mass production starting throughout the month of September.
Waiting for Intel
They also commented that one of the novelties of this Surface Pro 4 would be the incorporation of the new processors Intel Skylake (new generation of Intel Core i3, i5, i7). What we did not know to this day, is that the Surface Pro 4 had been delayed waiting for the chips to be ready. Microsoft has not come out and will not come out to confirm or deny this information, in fact, they still do not say a single word about Surface Pro 4 although it is known that they are working on it. Surely what they are looking for is that the sales that the Surface Pro 3 can still generate are not affected by the announcement of the new model.
On the other hand, the decision to wait for Intel and its Skylakes is a wise one. The new processors represent a quite important evolution in terms of performance and especially energy efficiency, which will improve the autonomy of the Surface Pro 4. In addition, the connectivity section will also benefit, since the Skylake chips comply with the standards Bluetooth 4.1, LTE Cat.6, WiDi 6.0 and A4WP (wireless charging) and will have support for 3D cameras, audio processing software and improvements in the interaction with the Stylus.

I want this tablet with all my desire. In fact I was going to buy the Pro 3 but I will wait and save a little more to buy the Pro 4. With Skylake this is going to be the trick, especially on a graphical level good surprises are expected.
I am in the same way, because I am looking for the set of surface and high-end mobile from Microsoft, so I will wait until November to acquire both
I am with you, I was going to buy the pro 3 from my wife, but I will wait until November to acquire the 4, I love what Microsoft is doing lately with its hardware and software, and I will also wait for the high-end mobile so I will have the set, a I greet everyone and thank you for reporting
