A game of Dungeons & Dragons, or Dragons and Dungeons, coming soon to iOS. A pact between the company of Playdek video games and game creator Wizards of The Coast, A subsidiary of Hasbro, it will bring this and other of its role-playing games to Apple's mobile platform. The agreement has just been formed and work will begin soon so that digital versions of those games can be enjoyed on the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch screens.
Playdek CEO Joel Goodman has been very excited about the news and said his enthusiasm is shared by his team. The company has always been a fan of Wizards games. They love the idea of recreating those titles in a format that players will have access to anytime, anywhere.
Playdek already has a lot of experience with games of this type in which cards with the characters' abilities are the basis, such as Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer, which was a great success and shares a similar theme, or Summoner Wars, also similar and that has received an award.
