During the past week we left you a few tutorials dedicated to iOS 11, always with the tablet in mind, but the truth is that a good part of the advice and explanations that we give you also apply to the iPhone. Today, however, we are going to focus on the news specific to the iPad, with special attention to the application bar and slide over, with a demonstration in video.

As soon as you have been aware of the information that came from iOS 11 or that you have already fiddled with it on your iPad, surely you already know the new application bar, a very simple tool in its approach, but one that will do a lot to improve the multitask on our tablet. You already know that we remove it by simply sliding from the bottom up, we can move it where it is most comfortable for us and with it we can directly access a selection of applications.
It is very important, in any case, to be aware that we can customize it, because that is where its main utility resides: by default it will show us recent apps, but we can choose the ones we use most frequently, and to add them we just have to drag them to the bar. In addition, some predictions (How many will depend on the space we have free), depending on the location, the time of day or other recently used. In any case, we can not only access applications, but also recent documents directly, by pressing and holding on the corresponding app.
It should also be done early to the combination of gestures between the bar and the different options of multi-window With which we can move from one app to another in a simple way: if from it we hold down and drag an app upwards, it opens in slide over (floating window), which with the handle icon we can move where we want, drag to the right to hide it or down to fix it, in which case we leave it in split view (split screen).
