Final Fantasy V has finally arrived on Android. The game originally released on the SuperNintendo platform, is one of those that fans remembered with more fondness within all the installments of the saga. The title comes to Android 6 months behind the iPad. In this way, Square Enix repeats for the umpteenth time the gesture of differential treatment that it gives to the users of both platforms.
The importance of the fifth episode of this series of games is based on the implementation of two functionalities in the game dynamics that made the experience more involved and, therefore, addictive. The job system it was inaugurated in the fourth installment but here it was taken to its maximum expression by assuming notable improvements in the character. In addition, tremendous progress was made in the ability to player customization.
In this game we have until 26 different jobs, given that four new ones are incorporated that already appeared in the remake 2006. As you know, these jobs involve skills that we can distribute among the five characters that we have in our band to be more versatile in battles.
Precisely in the battles we will see one of the contributions of the saga to the history of the video game: the ATB o Action Time Battle. In this system, also incorporated in Final Fantasy IV, we must wait for a bar to load to unload an attack on our enemy or an ability.
At the same time, the story is very entertaining because of the role played by crystals that determine the future of the world and that have continued to appear in subsequent sequels.
From the graphic point of view we will notice that the original has been remastered and that there are aspects that increase in three-dimensionality despite clearly being a game with a two-dimensional approach.
As in all the games in this historical serial, the price is high. Square Enix sets it at 14,49 euros, the same as for iOS.
