Has finally come to Android the game The Walking Dead: Season One. The official graphic adventure leap to android mobile devices after succeeding on PC and iOS. The magnificent story in the post-apocalyptic world parallels the one we see in the magnificent AMC television series Based on the Robert Kirkman comic.
More than a year ago we had the appearance of this game for iOS. The developers of Telltale Games released the first season that consisted of several chapters. These were made available from time to time until they were sold out and they had to release the second season.
With all this delay, it finally arrives on Android after several broken promises. However, its premiere is highly appreciated.
The dynamics of the game reminds us of the graphic adventures of yesteryear, with the conversations with answer options, search for objects and information and some action. In fact, the game is much more about solving mysteries and logic puzzles than it is about smashing zombie heads.
Such a style of play can only be sustained with a good script and this is the case. Its creators are a group of creators coming from Lucas Arts and, in fact, they have brought versions of Monkey Island to iOS.
It is remarkable that the relationships between the characters are well cared for and we can influence them with our behavior.
The graphic aspect is also interesting, with a comic style mixed with a three-dimensional perspective.
This first season is divided into chapters. The first one is free so that we can get the taste and the trick of the game, but then we will have to pay for the following ones. We can decide to do it one by one, paying 3,59 euros for each episode, or choose to buy the entire season for 10,78 euros. This last option is somewhat cheaper. All these purchases are made within the application itself.
