Samsung tablets are always presented to the public providing all the details of their technical specifications. With this, the conversation about it continues, the comparison with other devices, etc ... However, there is always one piece of information that we do not obtain until a long time later: the price. Today we can offer you the first approaches to price of the Galaxy TabPRO and Galaxy NotePRO thanks to an unexpected breath.
San Mobile sources have given us the starting prices of the four professional tablets presented at CES in Las Vegas by South Koreans. The good news is that this includes the cost of models with connection to LTE mobile networks.
Here are the prices:
Galaxy TabPRO 8.4: WiFi from 389 euros / WiFi + LTE from 519 euros
Galaxy TabPRO 10.1: WiFi from 479 euros / WiFi + LTE from 609 euros
Galaxy TabPRO 12.2: WiFi from 649 euros / WiFi + LTE from 749 euros
Galaxy Note PRO 12.2: WiFi from 749 euros / WiFi + LTE from 849 euros
If these prices are confirmed, we will see that the qualification of professional tablets is not a marketing effect. The specs of these teams are outstanding and this is reflected in their prices.
The one that seems to have a more fair valuation is the 8,4-inch model that will have an identical starting price to the iPad mini Retina with which it will clearly compete shortly in stores. It is also somewhat superior to the Galaxy Note 8 that can be found for less than 330 euros.
The same goes for the 10,1-inch, which will match in price with the iPad Air. Again, it would clearly identify Apple as its main competitor and it looks capable of fighting to offer a better experience with the same price base.
If we go to the other extreme, we have costs that go a bit out of hand. The Galaxy TabPRO 12.2 is more accessible perhaps because it lacks the expensive stylus support and the suite of applications and resources that the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 does present, the price of which would be sheer madness.
What do you think? Do you consider the price fair or do you see it a bit high?
