We had already shown you what it could be the first real photograph of the Galaxy Tab S4, but in that image what was intended to be shown to the camera was the information displayed on the screen and it did not allow us to appreciate as well as we could have wished the design of the tablet itself (aside, of course, of the prudence with which this type of leaks must always be taken).
All the press images that began to circulate tonight, however, they are much clearer and, if they were authentic, they would have completely revealed to us the appearance of the Samsung's new flagship tablet, with the advantage, in addition, that it shows it to us from all perspectives, with a frontal plane, another of the rear casing and also a profile.
It must be said that what we see in them really matches what could be guessed from the first photograph: goodbye physical buttons, very thin frames, but more regular and, altogether, rather classic lines. It is also appreciated that the proportions change notably compared to the Galaxy Tab S3, but we already knew that would happen because one of the first things we learned about it is that the screen would revert to the 16:10 aspect ratio.
And the fingerprint reader?
In any case, one of the great surprises that this image has given us, and in which you will surely have already noticed, is the absence of a fingerprint reader. We can't say that it caught us entirely off guard, because we had already considered the possibility of it disappearing alongside the physical button, but we really would have bet that Samsung he was just going to place it somewhere else.
This may be the case, because some speculate that it will arrive with one below the screen. If the Galaxy Note 9 ended up incorporating this technology, and provided that the Galaxy Tab S4 is introduced after he (it can be ruled out that he will be the one in charge of introducing such a revolutionary feature), could be considered an option. It could be on the on / off button too, but from what I know in the pictures it doesn't look like it.
This is where it should be remembered that one of the previous leaks had pointed out that the new tablet of Samsung would arrive with iris scanner And seeing that the iPad Pro 2018 is going to bet on facial recognition, as has the Mi Pad 4, it would not surprise us if the Koreans had decided to completely do without the fingerprint reader.
