Samsung, who yesterday presented us his new Galaxy TabPro S, although they are at least going to go with the current, using Windows 10 as an operating system. What can be the strengths of the Korean tablet compared to Microsoft's? Let's try to see it by measuring its Technical specifications in a comparative.
Integrated
If you look at the devices themselves, they are both elegant and with fantastic finishes, although the Surface Pro 4 it probably has an advantage for some in terms of materials thanks to its magnesium housing. Taking into account, however, that they are two tablets designed to work, we are also interested in paying attention to their integration with the keyboard: in the case of the Samsung the keyboard also serves as a support and offers us two different working positions (one almost vertical and the other much more inclined); In the one from Microsoft, the support is on the back of the tablet and we can adjust the angle completely to our liking.
Dimensions
Taking into account that both are quite bulky tablets, the small difference in size that separates them (and that reflects a small difference in size also on the screen) loses considerable importance (29,03x19,88 inch against 29,21x20,14 inch). Most notable are, probably, those that we find in favor of the Galaxy TabPro S when comparing the thickness (6,3 mm against 8,45 mm) and weight (696 grams against 766 grams).
Screen
As we said, the screen of the Surface Pro 4 is a little bigger12 inches against 12.3 inches), but it is probably the least important difference between them, since it is more worth taking into account that they do not have the same aspect ratio (the tablet of Samsung uses the conventional 16:10, optimized for video playback, while that of Microsoft uses an intermediate, 3: 2) and that the resolution of the Galaxy TabPro S is somewhat lower2160 x 1440 against 2736 x 1824), as is its pixel density (PPI 216 against PPI 267), but that uses an AMOLED panel.
Performance

We will have to wait to see the results of the autonomy tests, which is the important data, but as for now we have to settle for comparing the battery capacity data, the victory for the moment must be given to the Galaxy TabPro S, with 5200 mAh over the 5087 mAh for the Surface Pro 4.
Price
Of course the price is always an important part of our choices, but the truth is that it seems to lose some importance when we talk about professional tablets, taking into account how high the prices of the basic models are always and even. At the moment, we only know that the Surface Pro 4 sold from $1000, and we will have to wait to see if the Galaxy TabPro S It goes on sale with a somewhat lower figure or not.
If Samsung wants to compete against the Surface Pro 4, if it should be at least € 200 cheaper is the only way but people will continue to opt for the Original Surface Pro 4
Until I play this TabPro S, I agree. Despite Samsung's huge pull as a brand, the Surface Pro 4 is out-of-the-box perfection.
