However, a name is not everything and behind it there must be a series of characteristics that ensure that the public has achieved a device capable of satisfying their needs, whether in the professional or domestic sphere.
A few weeks ago, we talked to you about RCA, a practically unknown firm based in Hong Kong that had tried to make the leap to convertible formats with a model called Pro 12 that, among its most striking aspects, had Android Marshmallow in an attempt to position this platform as a useful tool not only for users who play audiovisual content in portable formats. Next we tell you more about Galileo Pro, another of the most recent bets of this technology that, as we will see in the following lines, is a tablet that can be reminiscent of the first models launched on the market about 6 years ago in aspects such as its shape.
Integrated
Galileo is a terminal that is characterized by belonging to the largest family of devices. Apart from this data, we find a device that uses the plastic as the main material and to which you can add a keyboard in what is, once again, a nod to the most demanding. The existing photographs show a black tablet that, with this last element incorporated, could exceed the 1.200 grams weight, a somewhat high figure.

When we mentioned that it is a model that can go back to the origins of the format, we were not referring only to the shape of this model, but also to its visual performance. Despite being equipped with a control panel 11,5 inches, its resolution does not offer great surprises, since it remains in the 1024 × 600 pixels, although they would not give a bad quality either. The cameras are not the highest either, despite their creators claiming that they are ideal for video calls. The rear lens reaches only 2 Mpx while the front one stays at 1.
Performance
Although with the incorporation of the keyboard, Galileo winks at professional audiences, the truth is that like its companion, Pro 12, it could be somewhat adjusted when executing several heavy apps simultaneously or with the Web browsing. MediaTek is once again the chosen option, which in this case would provide this device with a MT 8127, very seen in the input range and that would offer peaks of 1,3 GHz. Another obstacle to reaching the most demanding users would be their RAM, 1 GB To which is added an initial storage capacity of 32 of which its creators do not give more details on whether it can be expanded or not.
Operating System
With further development of our own Made in China interfaces based on the green robot software, it seems unusual to find terminals that incorporate some of the latest versions of Android without any addition. In the case of Galileo, we would find marshmallow. As for the networks that it would support, there would be 3G and 4G as well as WiFi connections.
