With the year about to end, we are not the only ones who are reviewing the best that the last twelve months have left us: a week ago we brought you the list of candidates which Google had proposed to its users as best Android apps and games of 2013 and today we already have a complete list with the awarded (Although the truth is that it is not entirely clear if today's selection is supposed to be derived from the previous one). In any case, the company of the search engine has already spoken: who will have been the winners?
As you will remember, the candidates what did he offer us Google They were divided into several categories, but today we see the results in only two sections: applications y games. We do not know if it is simply because they have decided to group together or that they are two independent selections, something that cannot be completely ruled out if we take into account that the finalist and award-winning applications do not agree, and although in a less exaggerated way, the same thing happens with games. Taking into account that it is also assumed that the winners were the most voted by users, everything is even stranger. Be that as it may, we leave you with the list of winners and draw your own conclusions.
Best Android games of 2013
Of the games that were among last week's nominees we find the Worms 2: Armageddon, FIFA 14 coins, Star Wars: Tiny Death Star, Deer Hunter 2014, Clash of Clans and of Crane, Mi Villano Favorito. Considering that the list is from 14 games, there are 8 others that have definitely not come out of the same pre-selection, although we can consider many of them quite logical choices, as is the case of the Plants vs Zombies 2 or of Real Racing 3 and Asphalt 8. A very interesting detail, in any case, and that will please many, is that the vast majority of the selected games are Services (Worms 2 o Real boxing are one of the few exceptions in which you would have to pay).
Best Android Apps of 2013
The discrepancies are much greater (not to say complete) in the case of the list of Best Apps. In fact, it seems that the only coincidence is that of the application of Duolingo . As you can see, today's list has a much more local flavor, with a good number of applications from Spanish companies (such as that of RTVE.esThat of Secondhand.es or of Tuenti). It is very notable, on the other hand, the absence of applications of Google which, in fact, formed in themselves one of the previous categories. Some of the applications included in the selection, in any case, seem quite appropriate, even if they were not among the candidates of last week's list, as is the case of Swiftkey keyboard.
