How to download torrent files from our tablet with tTorrent

In this tutorial we are going to show you how we can use our tablet to download files from the torrent network thanks to an application called tTorrent.

The features of this application are:

• Multiple downloads and queues at the same time.
• Search for torrents.
• Possibility of limiting the upload and download speed.
• Support for "magnet links"
• Data encryption.

This application can be found in the Play Store. It has 2 versions, one free and one paid. The paid version has no ads and comes without a speed limit. The free version is limited to 250Kb / s.

The first thing to do is download the application from the Play Store like any other.

Once downloaded, we execute it from the icon that will have been created for us in the applications menu. The first thing that will appear is the window of the "changelog" or list of version changes. We click on "cancel" to continue.

And then we will see the main screen of the program.

On the left we have the different tabs to filter the torrents according to their status, whether downloading, paused, completing, etc. On the right side we can see the space reserved for torrents and the details of each one. The first thing we are going to do is take a look at the configuration menu, for this we click on the button with 3 squares in the upper right part of the screen, and then click on "configuration".

In the configuration window we can establish the directory where the downloads will be saved, the number of maximum downloads, the network configuration (speed limit, port, encryption, etc.), notifications and power management (turn off the screen, battery limit, etc).

To add torrent files to download, we can do it in several ways: loading a .torrent file downloaded from the internet, using the torrent search engine or adding a magnetic link. All options are available on the main screen of the program, at the top.

If we click on "search" it will ask us to install the program Transdroid Torrent Search. We click on install, and once again on install to be able to access said torrent search engine.

Once the search engine is installed, click once more on the search button at the top of the main screen and the keyboard will appear, waiting to enter the name of the torrent that we want to search.

Once the search is done, all the available results will appear on the computer according to the number of sources.

Click on the file that we want to download to open the tab to add a new torrent, where we can set the directory where to save it if we do not want it to save it in the default location.

Click on download and an added torrent message will appear. If we return to the main screen of tTorrent, we can see that the torrent is in the list and downloading.

We can use the option to add magnetic link by entering the corresponding URL. By clicking on browse files we access a search engine to load the torrent files that we have downloaded manually from other torrent websites.

With this program we already have our tablet ready to download torrent files. There are alternatives to tTorrent, although all the comments indicate that this is the most powerful and stable, but if you want to try alternatives, you can download it from the Play Store:
