The FCC registry fumes in the lead up to the IFA in Berlin. Now a new tablet, HP Omni 10. The equipment has been approved today and therefore it would be ready to go on sale, that is, nothing prevents its official presentation, beyond the times set by the marketing strategy that the company wants to follow.
The documents do not say too much about the specifications of the equipment, only that it has WiFi and Bluetooth, no disclosure.
The weird thing is that the line Omni has so far been dedicated to All in One PCs with fairly large screens of 20 and 27 inches. Interestingly, none of those screens were touch-enabled, making it more surprising that they use the term tablet in the registry. This would indicate that it may be part of a larger All in One set. The normal thing, therefore, is that it was a Windows 8 computer, although we have already seen a case in which the screen was simultaneously an Android tablet. We talk about ASUS Transformer AIO, a rarity on the market that others might want to emulate.
In the photo that comes to us, there is a visual resemblance to the HP Envy X2 or the HP Slate 7, so this Android option should not be ruled out and perhaps there is a rethinking of the line. By the shape of the equipment, the size ratio of the front camera and its name, HP Omni 10, we deduce that it would be a 10-inch screen.
Everything indicates that the American company is serious about this year's Berlin fair. HP SlateBook X2 has just been released and may be showing there. But it is also more than likely that we will see the HP Slate 8 Pro, recently leaked and also with Tegra 4, and, why not, this mysterious team of today.
