HP has presented a good barrage of tablets in this great technology fair that is being held this week in Barcelona. Among all of them, we would like to highlight two models that are in a middle ground that more and more brands are exploring, that of the phablet. However, on this occasion the concept also extends to tablets with a telephone function. Let's take a look at the Slate 6 VoiceTab and Slate 7 VoiceTab.
The two devices start from a similar premise, being able to have a large touch screen and at the same time being able to continue making calls. But one is closer to what we usually consider a phone and another in the size of entry to the tablet territory. Both had been presented for India but had not yet been seen in the western market.
HP Slate 6 Voice Tab
In short, it is a 6-inch HD screen (1280 x 720 pixels) with a Marvel PXA1088 processor consisting of Quad Core Cortex A7 1,2 GHz accompanied 1 GB of RAM to move 4.3 Android Jelly Bean. Its storage is 16 GB expandable another 64 GB by microSD. Its connectivity through mobile networks remains in 3G and Dual SIM support. It has two cameras being the front of 2 MPX and the rear of 5 MPX with LED Flash and autofocus.
Its battery is 3.000 mAh, its thickness of 8,8 mm and its weight of 160 grams. Its price in India is 22.900 rupees, which is equivalent to about 270 euros.
HP Slate 7 Voice Tab
Here we already have a team competing in that new league of 7-inch tablets with phone capabilities. In specifications it is almost identical to its smallest model, the only thing with a larger 7-inch screen that goes up to X in resolution. They also share endowment in processor, RAM and ROM memory, connectivity and cameras. Of course, the 4.100 mAh battery is noticeable in the thickness of 9,5 mm and in the weight of 325 grams.
In India it is sold for 16.990 rupees, about 200 euros.
