We are going to start with the novelty that is most obvious and that, as you can see, is none other than the incorporation for the first time in a tablet of the dual cameras how common they are already in smartphones. It seems that the main one would be 13 MP and the secondary of 2 MP.
The other novelty involves entering a little more into the field of speculation, but it seems a reasonable bet: the point is that this tablet has just passed through the FCC and has done so under the name of MediaPad M5 wp, which immediately brings to mind the Honor WaterPlay and invites despite the fact that the star feature of this model could be the water resistance.
Other details of the MediaPad M5 8
We already have enough details of the rest of its technical specifications (although, as always, it should be taken with some caution) that, in general, they leave it closer to what we find in the MediaPad M3 10 Lite than in the others MediaPad M5, by which we mean that it has a more mid-range profile (which makes sense because otherwise it would perhaps be somewhat redundant with the current one MediaPad M5 8.4).
The screen, for example, would in this case be Full HD and the RAM would stay on 3 GB, and although it is not known which processor it will mount, it seems out of the question that it is the Kirin 970 (and probably not the Kirin 960s either). In any case, some of those extras that we have become accustomed to seeing in mid-range tablets of Huawei, such as the fingerprint reader or the Harman Kardon speakers.
Would be released this summer
We will still have to wait a bit to be able to attend its official debut, in any case, since, according to this information, the international launch would take place this summer. We do not have predictions about the price at the moment and it is somewhat difficult to place bets: of course, it should be more affordable than the MediaPad M5 8.4, but it is possible that those extras that we have highlighted make it a bit more expensive than normal.
We have to say, anyway, that we have certain doubts as to whether it will be seen in Spain, simply because the one that can be considered its predecessor (the MediaPad M3 8 Lite) in the end did not and we do not know if Huawei it could go back to these, reserving it for Japan and other markets. We hope this is not the case because it would certainly be an interesting addition to the current mid-range tablet offering. We'll be alert.
