Today we have found the most surprising news. Hyundai has announced its tablet T7 that will arrive at a very low price, only $ 166, and with a series of features that do not look bad at all. The fourth world car manufacturer returns to the tablet sector and that is always something worth reviewing, so let's see what its new team offers us, the Hyundai T7.
Maybe the brand Hyundai is better known for its successful activities in the automotive industry than in other types of technological fields, however, the Korean company is formed by a conglomerate of companies that cover different fields, including telecommunications, and proof of this is this interesting tablet whose first data we receive today via SlashGear. This important specialized portal comments that for the price that will be released on the market it is hard to believe that the device can even start, however, there are some details in it that invite optimism.
To start the Hyundai T7 mount a processor Exynos 4 quad-core, which is always a quality signal, and a Mali GPU. It also has a not inconsiderable seven-inch screen, whose resolution is similar to that of the Nexus 7 or Kindle Fire HD, that is, 1280 × 800, with 216 dots per inch, it also has two cameras, although quite basic: the front of 0,3 MPx and the rear of 1 MPx, 8GB of internal storage (without MicroSD slot), and 3.000 battery mAh, with about four hours of autonomy. The operating system of this computer is a somewhat modified version of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, although as indicated in SlashGear, it does not seem very expected that they will ever update it.
In its external appearance the Hyundai T7 has great similarity to various devices of Samsung, especially to Galaxy S III and, in addition to being very cheap, it doesn't look bad. The problem is that since it is not a very common manufacturer of this type of device (and we do not believe that it will become one now), as we say, the updates will be conspicuous by their absence and those who get one will have to learn to live with the bugs that you bring from the factory. In addition, there is another detail that we must highlight and that is that its screen only recognizes 5 pressure points, far from the standard of 10 that was established from the first iPad.
Hyundai has several predecessor and current tables to this one: http://www.hyundai-digital.cn/ShowProduct.asp?ID=158
