Google has just started a project that can really mean a change in how we relate to the environment through technology. It's about a game that uses augmented reality to engage the player and build the narrative of the game. The game for Android is called Ingress and, at the moment, it is in beta phase. Your access is limited and you need to have downloaded the application and receive an invitation with a promotional code to enter.
The idea is that with a map and with reality increased let's go to real sites of our city that are important because they have a special energy. There is an enemy group called The Enlightened o The enlightened who want to control that energy to influence or hack people's minds. You must join the Resistance o Resistance to liberate those sites and defend the human race and its freedom. The best is that you interact with other players and can draw up action strategies with them using the maps again.

The only technical condition seems to be that you have 3G and GPS, since the augmented reality itself and the advances you make in the game have to be able to communicate with the application, with the other players and are linked to locations.
