Sony introduced the Xperia Z4 without making a lot of noise. The company announced a very continuous terminal, perhaps too much, and it seemed that the explanation is that it would stay in the Japanese market, waiting for an Xperia Z5 that would reach the rest of the world. However, a few weeks ago the possibility of the device leaving the borders of the country of the rising sun has begun to be considered and this moment could come really soon, so much so that Sony could announce the international availability of the device. Sony's moves this year are certainly baffling. The company is unclear on how to manage the strategy change from two to a flagship, or at least that's the feeling they convey. The Xperia Z4 was initially announced for the Japanese market, an evolution of the Xperia Z3 that did not have great news except the metal frame and Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor (you can check the rest of the features here).
As it had been leaked, the representative of the firm in the rest of the markets would be another flagship, the one known informally as Xperia Z5, but lately we have attended a change of course according to recent events. As we told you, at the end of April the option that the Xperia Z4 to be launched internationally under the name Xperia Z3 + waiting for the second flagship that would arrive after the summer.
Now the company has organized an event in New delhi, india, which will take place next May 26, Tuesday of next week and there are rumors that they could give more information about the route that the Xperia Z4 will take outside its country of origin. The event could be completed with the presentation of another terminal, specifically the Xperia M4 Aqua, although we have no official confirmation that neither news is sure to occur.
