This information came from an investment analyst who passed a note to his clients informing them that 25 million units of iPad mini would be seen for the fall and another 30 million for the winter. That is to say, 55 million units before the end of the year.
This analyst, Peter Misek of Jeffries & CO, linked this data taken from the assembly line with the increase of 5% in Foxconn's profits in the last month of June. Foxconn is the company that assembles the iPad and that will mount iPad mini and iTV.
The manufacturing and distribution process of iPad mini is well advanced and there are already almost certain launch dates, specifically, the September 12 has all the ballots.
La iTV will arrive at Christmas, a little later. It is in full production as well but there are issues to close before it can be released. The analyst expects that they will sell about 2 million units in three months starting in December and that they will have a starting price of about U.S. dollar 1.250.
