After all kinds of rumors and leaks the new iPad Pro it has finally been done official. As we expected, Apple has announced its renewed tablet at the event held today in New York, in which we have been able to verify that reality was as beautiful as it was painted. We are going to explain in detail everything that this new generation of iPad pro has to offer us.
A frameless design, with Face iD integration, updated edges, a more powerful processor, and in two size versions. Everything that was leaked has finally been done reality in a product that will surely conquer all lovers of the format.
iPad pro 2018: main features
The first thing that catches the attention of the iPad Pro is, of course, its front. Available with screen two sizes (11 and 12,9 inches), the iPad Pro sports a Liquid Retina panel with resolutions of 2.388 x 1.668 and 2.732 x 2.048 pixels, respectively. In both cases, we find the technologies ProMotion, which automatically adjusts the refresh rate of the screen according to its use, as well as with the so-called True Tone, which corrects dynamically white balance.
The iPad also boasts a panel with a brightness of 600 nits in both versions, which does not reflect and enjoys a wide color gamut (P3). For its manufacture, a process called sub-pixel antialiasing, capable of rounding the corners to eliminate distortion at the ends.
El change of proportions it is also important. As you can see in the image above, the 11-inch iPad Pro occupies the same size as the previous 10,5-inch generation but now offers a larger screen. The 12,9 ″, for its part, directly occupies 25% less volume than the previous version despite the panel size being the same.

The absence of edges implies, as it has leaked for months, the Touch ID button disappearing. Instead, indeed, the new iPad Pro incorporates the system of facial recognition Face ID, through its 7 megapixel True Depth front camera. This one that works both horizontally and vertically and uses the same recognition process by creating a depth map by points of the face.
With regards to rear camera, little news to the front. Apple confirms that it has redesigned it to adapt to the new body - which is now thinner, 5,9 mm - but still offers a 12 MP sensor with aperture of f / 1.8, digital zoom of up to 5 times, five-element lens and True Tone flash with four LEDs.
The iPad Pro, which now has less rounded edges, as we had seen in one of its latest leaks, moves to the rhythm of a processor A12X Bionic, 64-bit and manufactured under 7 nanometer process, with eight CPU cores and 7 GPU cores, promising 90% faster performance and twice as efficient in graphics terms. It has by the way USB type-C port, thus allowing for example the connection of the tablet to an external monitor as well as, mind you, charge your iPhone in case you need it.

The weight less than 500 grams - in the case of the 11 ″ iPad; the 12,9 ″ marks 630 grams on the scale-, Apple points out that all versions of its new tablet reach up to 10 hours of Internet browsing via Wi-Fi connection and video or music playback, while if the mobile network is used, battery cae until 9 hours of navigation.
Refurbished accessories: Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard Folio
Even the Apple Pencil has undergone a transformation. The pencil It has a new body, with edges reminiscent of a real pencil, and in a nice matte finish - still white. It also hooks to the iPad magnetically, allowing it to be loaded with this gesture, by placing it, by its flat part, on the right side of the tablet - just as the tip faces to one side or the other. With two touches just where you rest your finger, you can also write mode, alternating between brush, pen or eraser.
As to keyboard, now offers two positioning angles to better adapt the vision of the tablet and magnetically attaches to the back of the iPad Pro, transferring data and receiving power through the iPad's Smart Connector - you will not have to charge it or put batteries in it.

As for accessories, the keyboard for the 11-inch model costs 199 euros while the compatible one for the 12,9 ″ version costs 219 euros. The new second-generation Apple Pencil costs 135 euros and can be ordered with a personalized engraving (free). Both products will be available on November 7.
