JDTab J01, the tablet from Meizu and LeEco: first impressions on video

meizu tablet

Although the latest launches of the big manufacturers are keeping us quite busy these weeks, the Chinese tablet market does not stop moving for a second and, as we saw yesterday with the Teclast X3 Plus, news does not stop reaching us from there. The last was the opportunity to take a look for the first time on video to JDTab J01, Meizu and LeEco tablet.

Meizu makes a good start in the field of tablets

Perhaps following in the footsteps of Xiaomi, Meizu, which has already built a good reputation in the Chinese low-cost smartphone market and has become one of the most popular brands in it, has now also entered the tablet market. They, however, have not done it alone, but associated with LeEco, Foxconn, Harman Kardon and JD.com, which is the online distributor that sells it in China as its own tablet.

Fortunately, other importers are re-selling it (Banggood.com, for now), which will give us the opportunity to get hold of it in the rest of the world. Unfortunately, having to go through so many hands to get to us means that it will cost us a little more than usual in a tablet of this type and the tablet rises well from the initial 200 dollars, at least for now. On the bright side, it's a great occasion for fans of Meizu to expand their good experiences with the brand to other devices and, as you can see in the video, the tablet leaves a good feeling.

Excellent screen and premium feel

You already know that in these types of videos, we cannot expect too many details yet about the performance of the devices, but they are interesting to get an idea of what we can expect from a tablet and, above all, to take a good look at its exterior, and get an idea of what it is like, almost as if we had held it in our hands.

Regarding the first question, it is clear that the aspect in which the JDTab J01 stands out the most is in picture quality, with a screen of 7.9 inch y 2048 x 1536 resolution, although the audio Harman Kardon without a doubt it is another great claim. It does not hurt, in any case, to be able to take a look at the interface too. Those who already have a smartphone from Meizu They are not going to be any surprise, but for those who are not familiar with Flyme OS it is a good opportunity to get an idea.

Regarding the second question, we can verify that the aesthetics is very similar to that of the iPad, although without a physical home button (or Touch ID) on the front, but with an elegant metal casing and quite good finishes. Unfortunately, it also has one of its less attractive aspects in common with the Apple tablet, the absence of a micro-SD card slot, but at least the JDTab J01 arrives with 64 GB internal memory.
