In the past IFA 2013, Lenovo featured a couple of interesting touchscreen convertible laptops. Throughout this week we have had the opportunity to test the largest of the models, which is named IdeaPad Flex 15, and has a 15,6-inch front panel attached to a keyboard on which it offers a 300-degree rotation. These have been our impressions.
Lenovo continues to expand its portfolio of professional equipment with a new line of devices that it seeks to combine portability and power. In a strict sense, the IdeaPad Flex 15 is not a hybrid, since it does not have a pure tablet aspect, it simply transforms its structure to become a laptop or touchpad generously sized, depending on the needs of the user.
Power, size and multimedia features
The three aspects that appear in the title of this section are those in which, without a doubt, the IdeaPad Flex 15 stands out as a product. Your processor is a powerful Intel Core i5 It is not only capable of moving the applications with sufficiency, but also any desktop program that we want to use.
The 15,6 fleas offer us a row of extra tiles and a workspace overwhelming, which together with the multitasking capabilities of Windows, will become a boon for users. The sound is also impeccable, better than any tablet we've tested.
Tablet uses are limited
The negative part, from the point of view of users interested in tablet applications, is that the device is fundamentally a PC, and there are many apps that use the accelerometer and the sensitivity to rotation to apply its controls. In this sense, we already said, we will not be able to use the IdeaPad Flex 15 as we would like to play Asphalt or some other titles from the Microsoft store.
