Today the TechWorld y Lenovo has been in charge of breaking the ice. It has done it in a big way, in addition, with the presentation of the second generation of the think pad 10, one of his tablets with Windows most popular and the first to be announced with the latest version of this operating system. It is not, yes, a tablet of the highest level (compared to the best hybrids Windows is a few steps behind), but it does have the appeal of a relatively affordable price, making her a dangerous rival to Microsoft's Surface 3.
Integrated
In the design section we do not find too many novelties compared to the first think pad 10, from which it has inherited its general lines. More than its aesthetics, in any case, what is most worth highlighting about the new tablet of Lenovo are accessories with which it can be purchased (especially the keyboard with trackpad, but also the covers, the dock station and various stylus) and that allow it to become a perfect device to work with. Its measures are 25,65x17,7 inch, its thickness is 9,1 mm and its weight 617 grams.
Technical Specifications
As the name makes clear, the screen has a size of 10 inches with resolution 1920 x 1200 and it will not vary in the different models, as neither will the cameras, which will be 1,2 MP, the front, and 5 MP, the rear. In other sections, especially performance, however, we are going to find quite a few differences between models: one will have a processor Intel Atom Z8500 y 2 GB RAM and another with a Intel Atom Z8700 and with 4 GB of RAM memory, and we will also have two options in terms of storage capacity, one with 64 GB and another with 128 GB, albeit with card slot micro-SD, in any case. As we anticipated, when it is launched it will come with Windows 10 installed.
Price and Availability
We do not yet have the data in euros and you already know that the conversion is usually less intuitive than you would expect, but the price in dollars (U.S. dollar 549 for the most affordable model), it will serve us at least to get an idea of what range it will be in. We will have to wait a bit, yes, to be able to get hold of it, since it will not be available until the month of August. We will be attentive to inform you when there is official information about its launch in our country.
INTERESTING THE PRICE but it would have been successful if instead of using an Intel Atom Z8500 had opted for the 5th Generation of intel i3, i5, and i7 so if it would be competition from the Surface, it hurts to stay in the attempt.
It would be good if it has a greater capacity since the hard disk fills up quickly with the applications.
