Lenovo shows us its Yoga Book, already available in Spain in Android version

Yoga Book touch keyboard

Waiting for the news that may be from here until the end of the year (and they should not be long delayed if they want to have good marketing for Christmas) the Lenovo Yoga Book is presented as one of the most interesting tablets of 2016. Knowing how to innovate in a "stuck" segment and re-enthuse those who once were lovers of the format is not a simple task, however, this model has a special spark and a signature behind it with muscle for anything.

Today we have been with the boys of Lenovo, who have gathered the press to offer new details about their Yoga Book and they have put at our disposal a few units with which to make the first contact with the terminal. With Christmas near and after a first part of the year in which we have been able to accuse a significant drought in the segment (in relation to Android, mainly), things are starting to roll a little more and we begin to see manufacturers of the stature from Lenovo, Huawei and, shortly, Google show their cards.

Lenovo Yoga Book, now on sale for 499 euros

A few weeks ago we told you that the Yoga Book could already be booked in Spain. Well, the device has just gone on sale in our country (Android version) and can now be purchased for $499, a reasonable price if we consider that it includes both the screen keyboard supplementary like the pen. As for the Windows 10 model, we know it will cost $599, but we still cannot specify anything about its availability.

As we already mentioned in its day, the tablet has the following technical specifications: IPS screen, Full HD, 10,1 inches, processor a Intel ATOM X5 Z8550, at 2,4 GHz, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM. The design is all metal and the battery amounts to 8.500 mAh, which translates into about 15 hours of playback.

What is special about the device?

Seen on paper, perhaps its characteristics are within the expectation and little else, but the interesting thing is what we will find if we dig a little. For example, the equipment has a sound system developed by Dolby, which is a guarantee of quality. However, if this model is going to be remembered for something, it is for having known how to give a twist to the growing demand for 2 in 1 tablets. In this case, the keyboard is a second screen that also serves as a pad to create designs with the pen, keeping the entire system of input tactile.
