IFA 2018 is giving us interesting announcements related to convertibles in this edition. And for example this new Yoga from Lenovo. Filtered out a few weeks ago, the 2-in-1 was introduced as the first Windows laptop with a snapdragon 850 processor from Qualcomm. Let's get to know him better.

The Lenovo Yoga C630 enjoys an IPS screen of 13,3 inches with Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels) and multi-touch support and boasts an elegant body with aluminum finish, with a thickness of 12,5 millimeters and a weight of 1,2 kg - numbers lower than those of the Mix 630 2-in-1, launched last year with Snapdragon 835. Inside it is located, as we say, its greatest peculiarity, an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 processor paired with a 630 GPU.

The equipment allows the option to be set with 4 or 8 GB of RAM (LPDDR4X) as well as choosing between internal 128 or 256 GB SSD storage. Regarding its connectivity, obviously, it makes use of the X20 LTE modem with speeds of up to 1.2 Gbps, and it supports Bluetooth 5.0. Do not forget the fingerprint reader, a webcam with IR and support for Window Hello, the stereo speakers, an integrated microphone, the traditional audio output for headphones and two USB Type-C 3.0 ports.

Qualcomm ensures that its Snapdragon 850 lengthens the battery 20% more, something that translates, according to Lenovo, into a Yoga C630 capable of holding plus 25 hours on a single charge. It offers a 20% higher Gigabit LTE speed and in general achieves a 30% more performance, so that you will find a much more decisive and powerful equipment compared to previous proposals of the house in this segment. As they remember in anadtechMicrosoft has also re-optimized the Edge browser for Windows computers running on Snapdragon, also helping to achieve a better user experience.

Lenovo has already announced the availability and pricing of its new Yoga C630. As confirmed by the manufacturer, the device will hit the EMEA market (Europe, Middle East and Africa) this imminent month of September, hanging a label that part of the $999.
