El IFA from Berlin It will begin in the middle of this week and will be loaded with news from the large firms, which are rushing their options to win over the consumer for the final stage of the year: the winter vacation period. While the Android tablet segment is not in its best shape, we expect at least a couple of teams capable of creating buzz. One of them will come from the hand of Samsung, the other is this Yoga Tab 3 Plus.
Gone seem to be the days when manufacturers made available tablets that performed at the same level as the highest-end smartphones and they incorporated many of their most interesting novelties. Now the evolution is settled in other areas and although the power unit does not reach the (relative) levels of the past, it seeks to favor plots that highlight other virtues. Lenovo has a solid foundation in Yoga Tabs and more than enough muscle to continue evolving into one of the most original and attractive concepts in the segment.
Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus: features
Although there is room for some kind of modification while waiting for what the guys at Lenovo tell us during their Keynote at IFA 2016, we already have a very complete drawing of the Yoga Tab 3 Plus. The device, as indicated by PhoneArena, will have a 10-inch screen in classic format, 16:10 with resolution 2K. In terms of performance, it relies on the Snapdragon 650 of six cores, to 1,8GHz, although for now there is no data regarding the capacity of the RAM memory.
An interesting detail about the device is its front camera, 13 megapixels. At last a manufacturer is committed to improving that vital section (from our point of view) for a tablet, to a much greater extent than the back. When it comes to battery, Android Yoga Tabs never disappoint, and in this case, they won't either: the team will add up to 9.300 mAh capacity.
High-end with mid-range processor
If we take into account the enormous leap that Qualcomm has made with Snapdragon 650 and 652At the height of the 810 and 808, it is not surprising that many manufacturers are betting on these chips to cut some cost of components, maintaining the high-end performance of a year ago. It seems to Samsung will do something similar on its Tab S3.
The point is that this Yoga will become more accessible than the leading devices of previous years, showing a starting price of U.S. dollar 390 in its WiFi variant. The 4G LTE version will be sold for U.S. dollar 450.
