LG has made official this afternoon its new smartphone, the G3, thus completing the list of high-end terminals launched by the main Android manufacturers during 2014. Therefore, we are now in a position to compare their specifications to see if they have managed to outperform the rest of the devices we already know. On this occasion, it is the turn of the HTC One M8 that made its appearance on the market just two months ago.
Once the device was analyzed by those responsible who have been masters of ceremony at the event, now that we know what are your weapons and what are the points that LG has focused on. Have they taken advantage of the time they have had too much? We analyze the different aspects to see which of them stands out in each one and that you can debate which of them would seem better for a hypothetical purchase.
Integrated
LG has finally bet on the plastic as a manufacturing material, but they have sought to give a premium touch to the terminal by incorporating a polished metal finish. In addition, they have arched the shape of the smartphone in search of greater ergonomics and have reduced edges to the maximum, reducing the dimensions to 146,3 x 74,6 x 8,9 millimeters and a weight of 149 grams. Equality is the dominant trend in this comparison. Both are top-notch terminals and opting for one or the other is perhaps a matter of personal taste. HTC offers the brilliance of aluminum or the power of its speakers, while LG has taken the opportunity to surpass them all with a superior quality on screen and an innovative camera. The customization layer (both based on Android 4.4.2) and the manufacturer's own services could be another factor to take into account, but as we said, it depends on each one.
