However, not in the territory Android in which the phablet of the Koreans is going to move, the rival to beat is precisely that of their compatriots, the Galaxy S6 edge +, which saw the light a few weeks before and that set the bar really high both in the design section and in Technical specifications. The comparative It is also quite interesting if we think that both have quite original characteristics. What will be more, finally, the secondary screen of one or the curved screen of the other? We start by measuring the technical specifications of both.
Integrated
As with the phablet of Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, Galaxy S6 edge + has an advantage in the design section as far as materials are concerned, at least if what we are looking for, as it usually happens, is a device with elegant finishes, since while the phablet of LG It offers us a silicone case (which, yes, clearly wins in resistance and is anti-scratch) the Samsung d sports an attractive combination of glass and metal. Dimensions
Although when it comes to materials it is always more a matter of personal preferences, if we look at the dimensions we do find a clear victory for the Galaxy S6 edge + which, with a screen of the same size is much more compact (15,96x7,93 inch against 15,44x7,58 inch) and light (192 grams against 153 grams) and also quite finer (8,6 mm against 6,9 mm).
Screen
Strictly speaking of technical specifications, we have two identical displays: both are of 5.7 inches and have a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a pixel density of PPI 518. Storage capacity
The winner here is undoubtedly the LG V10, which not only offers us in the basic model the same internal memory as the superior model of the Galaxy S6 edge + (64 GB), but also gives us the option to expand it externally through card micro-SD, an option that we do not have in the case of the phablet of Samsung.
Cameras
While waiting to be able to compare samples of photographs of both, we have to sign a tie, since in technical specifications they are very close: in both cases the main camera is of 16 MP and with optical image stabilizer and the front of 5 MP (although the LG V10 is dual). It should be mentioned, of course, that with the LG phablet we can record in manual mode and also with an optical stabilizer.
Autonomy
The last word in this section will be the autonomy tests, which will also account for their consumption (it will be necessary to see how much energy the secondary screen of the LG V10), but for now we can at least go comparing the capacity of their respective batteries, although the result is absolute equality, with 3000 mAh in both cases.
Price
We still do not know the price for which it will go on sale in Europe on LG V10 And, like yesterday with the iPhone 6s Plus, we can do nothing but speculate about the odds that it will end up being higher than that of the Galaxy S6 edge + and thinking that it is one of the most expensive smartphones that we can buy ($800) and that the flagships of LG they have always been among the most affordable, they seem quite remote. At the moment we know that the United States will cost 600 dollars, but we must bear in mind that prices have risen a lot lately on this side of the Atlantic.
