This morning the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A in Spain. The first tablet that the South Koreans launched on the market in 2015 and a different team than what we were used to to date, giving priority to design and finishes above the specifications that fit within the mid-range. Our colleagues have been able to attend the event in which they have had the opportunity to test the equipment first-hand, and here we bring you the result, a video contact.
La Samsung Galaxy Tab A was announced almost two months ago in RussiaSince then, the team has made a journey through the European continent that finally arrives at the Spanish station. Since last week, the last tablet of the South Korean firm can be reserved in our country, although the promotion with which they tried to encourage the pre-sale campaign ended yesterday (they gave away a cover valued at 50 euros).
Price
The official prices correspond to a team, as we said, mid-range but that offers a neat aesthetic and finishes in the best quality materials. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A can be purchased from $299 in its version with only WiFi connectivity, which increases to 369 euros in the case of also having support for LTE networks and finally, 349 euros for the one that incorporates the S-Pen (Samsung Stylus) although this version offers LTE.
Specifications
Regarding its technical specifications, we find a tablet that mounts a SuperAMOLED screen of 9,7 inches and 1.024 x 768 pixel resolution which corresponds to a 4: 3 ratio, ideal for browsing and reading, among other things. The chosen processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (APQ8016) with four Cortex A-53 cores that work at frequencies of 1,2 GHz. It is accompanied by a memory 1,5 GB RAM and 16 GB storage expandable by micro SD cards. The main chamber is 5 megapixels and the secondary of 2 megapixels. The battery goes up to 6.000 mAh capacity and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.
